Before moving to Kansas City my boyfriend would take me to Blip Roasters. Located just a few blocks from his warehouse in the West Bottoms. And myself being from the Motor City I felt like it was my home away from home. After relocating to KC I was thrilled when Ian the owner and I brainstormed for the mural. I cant take credit for the illustration another artist designed Charlene, Ians beloved dog on a Honda Motorbike. I simply took the image and expanded on it adding some vintage 70’s flair.
